German as a Foreign Language (DaF) Professionals

We are looking for dedicated and experienced professionals to join us on a freelance and project-based basis in the field of German as a Foreign Language (DaF). Opportunities are available for both on-site teaching abroad and live online instruction.

If you have teaching experience at levels A1, A2, B1 or B2, or experience delivering integration and vocational German language courses, and are looking to expand your expertise and professional portfolio, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • Teaching Experience: Previous experience teaching German language learners is required. Experience in online and/or classroom teaching is an advantage.
  • German as a Foreign Language (DaF): You are qualified to teach German as a Foreign Language (DaF) and can adapt your teaching to learners from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
  • International Mobility: You are willing to teach abroad on a project basis for Unilexam and its partner organisations. Flexibility, intercultural awareness and adaptability are essential.
  • Professional Development: You are motivated to further develop your teaching skills and expand your professional experience through continuous learning.
  • Global Projects: You are interested in participating in exciting international projects and applying your expertise in diverse educational environments worldwide.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • University Degree: A completed university degree, preferably in German as a Foreign Language (DaF), German Studies, Linguistics or a related field.
  • Teaching Experience: Experience teaching German to international learners, including preparation courses from A1 to C1 and TELC exam preparation, is highly desirable.
  • German Language Proficiency: Native-level German or C2 proficiency.
  • TELC Qualifications: Existing TELC examiner and/or rater licences (e.g. A1–C1) are considered a strong advantage.
  • BAMF Approval: A valid BAMF teaching licence is desirable.
